How It Works

For Candidates

  • Click on User Page. Now you have access to your Candidate Dashboard. Now you are ready to +Add Resume and create your profile. Upload a Europass CV (optional) to automatically fill the relevant fields. Otherwise, you may upload any other non-standard type of CV as your Resume file. In this case you should dedicate enough time to fill in the necessary information for your resume (fields marked with *). You can Preview your resume before Posting to check on the look of your profile. Your resume can be viewed, edited or removed at any time. Pro tips:
    • Include as much information about your skills as possible, so that we can match you to the job that you are mostly qualified. You can add your photo, a short resume, personal links, or videos for a more appealing resume.
    • You can add more resumes under the same profile, for applying to positions with different requirements. This feature helps you build strong resumes that stand out.
What type of CVs can be uploaded to the system? All types of CVs can be uploaded to the system. For Europass standard CV type, the system automatically extracts information and adds them to your profile. For non-standard CV types, all information can be manually uploaded by the candidate.

  • Every time a candidate applies for a job, Sciencediver.jobs calculates a unique matching score for this applicant. The matching score (in %) is based on specific criteria, such as past work experience, skills, qualifications, etc. Matching score is also based on the requirements of each position. Relevant statistics and infographics can be found in Matching and Matchmaking sections. At the same time, Sciencediver.jobs identifies the missing skills, qualifications and other missing criteria, which are presented in the Skill Gap sections. The process is automatic and is based on advanced algorithms to guarantee the best possible match between jobs and candidate profiles in the system.
